Terms of Service

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Acceptance

By publishing a file to temp.md or using the API, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What temp.md is

temp.md is a file hosting service that provides publicly accessible URLs for files. Files are temporary by default (7-day lifecycle) and can be claimed for permanent hosting.

Acceptable use

You may not use temp.md to host:

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property
  • Spam or phishing material
  • Content that violates any applicable law

We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate access for violations without notice.

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you publish. By publishing, you grant temp.md a licence to store and serve the content at the published URL for the duration it is hosted.

Availability

temp.md is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime, and we may modify or discontinue the service at any time. Unclaimed files are temporary by design — do not rely on them for permanent storage.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, temp.md is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service, including loss of data due to file expiry.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
